the adventures of a baby sitter.

Oh Gracey Belle. She thinks that every inch of this house is hers.

I watched my sister's dog and even though he was in a kennel for a few hours my cat hid. The cat that's bigger than the dog. She's clever.

Meet the beast, Tank. He looks ferocious doesn't he?

ho ho ho.

I gave my cat her Christmas gift...sushi shaped cat toys and a nice heap of catnip which you can see all over her. Merry Christmas Gracey Belle.

december twenty fourth.

I have let this month get away from me. Christmas and this move is a constant reminder of how unprepared I really am. This month has been a roller coaster! I was sick for a week, late to start shopping, didn't bake any cookies, packing like a snail, had a new nephew, working full time and still doing photos...let's just say I feel a little in over my head. This year I will be spending Christmas alone as I can't go out of town, my dad will be at the Bears game, my mom lives in Vegas, my sister and her family in NW Missouri, and my brothers with their significant others families and living in Maryland. Oh well, I obviously have enough to do!
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to you and yours!

woah mama.

Some of the best things I find are completely random. I can't tell you where I found this website but Erin is a great inspiration in a world where the things our great grandmothers did, like breast feeding, using home remedies, and homemade meals aren't easily found. She's also an amazing artist so she's kind of got a whole package thing going on.

bring it on home.

In light of me not being able to buy a house for another 6-8 months I decided to move in with some great friends of mine. The situation is ideal...aside from the 400 square feet living space verses my current 900 square feet. Luckily there's a great resource for such a problem on Urban Barn's website. Now let's just hope my measuring skills weren't off and that everything fits just as I planned. Of course the kitchen isn't planned out, that's the only thing I can't move. Now with this out of the way I can go full force into packing, donating, and getting some of my things into storage.
