I've become a lazy little lady with my projects and my blogging, so I thought I'd better give myself a new pto do list that is worth my time. I'm not sure when I'll be starting this but I WILL do it.

With my herbs and spices on the verge of harvest I need to prepare a safe and organized way to store everything. Ever since I had huge problems with pill bugs I don't want to give them a reason to return.

september eleventh two thousand one.

i will never ever forget where i was on 9/11. i was in a new school with new people and when i walked into biology class i knew something was wrong. every classroom i passed had a tv on and there was a eerie silence. thank you so much to the people that protect me, my family, and my friends. My friends, Chris Whitson, Billy Winchester, Anthony Rotert, and Scott Hensley; and my brother Adam Burkhead. 

Because of people like you, we live to remember.

Iowa falls are the best and it puts me in the mood to make some cider and chicken noodles. It also reminds me that I didn't knit nearly enough this summer and didn't learn anything I promised myself I would. When I saw these sweater patterns I was reminded that I bought amazing brown yarn to make a scarf and haven't even started it. Blast.
